L'Arnon is a french watercourse of approximatively 151 km long, going through beautiful landscape of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes et Centre-Val de Loire regions. Taking its source to 459 meters hight in the est-north of la Creuse, near "Le Grand Jurigny" in Saint-Marien, it snakes through many departementts before throwing itself in le Cher in Vierzon.
L'Arnon begins its journey by marking the border between la Creuse and le Cher, crossing breifly l'Allier before going back to the North. This river expose the natural limits between the Cher and the Indre departement, especially when its crossing the pitturesque Sidiailles lake.
After traveling a large part of the Centre-Val de Loire, l'Arnon joins le Cher at 93 meters hight on the Vierzon's territory. This point makes the Arnon an under-afflant of la Loire, adding to the fluvial network that irrigate an essential part of the center of the France.
L'Arnon, with his sinuous path and its natural border, is more than just a river. It is a witness of rich geographical interaction and historical by the region it goes through. A visit longing the river offers an immersion into diversity and the beauty of french landscape, as discovering numerous hiden treasure in the surrondings.
