In the berry's heart, between the Arnon's valley and the the Cher's banks, the vineyard of Reuilly is one of the wine flagship of the Centre-Val de Loire. With its hilly landscape and its typical soils, this local product wines of a great finesse that seduce amators and expert.

​🍇 A vineyard charged with history

Wine-growing history of Reuilly goes back to the Middle-Ages, when the monks of the abbey of Saint-Denis grown the fisrtgrape vines in the IXth century. Through the centuries, the vineyard learn to make a name thanks to the quality of its grape variety and the passion of its vinegrowers. In 1937, the wines of Reuilly got the l’Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée (AOC)(allows to protect french product), engagment of their authenticity and their exellency.

🌱 An exeptional local product

The vineyard of Reuilly grows on 250 hectares, distributed on seven municipalities in the Cher and the Indre. It benefits of diversified  soils :

• Limestones and clay-limestones hillsides : perfect for white grape variety.

• Gravelly and sandy terrace : ideal for red and rosé.

The local climate with oceanical influence favors an optimal maturation of the grapes, giving wines a nice freshness and an unique typicality.

🍷 Exeptional wines

The AOC Reuilly offers three types of wines :

• Les blancs (the whites) (100 % Sauvignon) : fresh and tasty, with citrus notes, white flowers and a great minerality.f

• Les rouges (the reds) (100 % Pinot Noir) : light and fruity, with notes of little red fruits.

• Les rosés (100 % Pinot Gris) : delicate and fine, with floral shade and touch of red fruit.

Those wines stands out by their lightness and their balance, perfect to go with loacl product like goat cheese of VAlençaay or traditional berrichon meals.
